The connection methods for HDPE double-wall bellows and B and C tubes encompass both mechanical connections and a range of thermal fusion techniques. The primary methods include butt fusion, electrofusion, socket fusion, flange adapter connection, and compression connection.

1. The pipeline should rest on an earth arc base. For general soil, a medium-coarse sand layer of 100mm thickness should be placed on the undisturbed soil foundation or a compacted backfill foundation beneath the pipe's bottom. For poor-quality soil, use a sand-gravel base layer of at least 200mm thickness, which can be laid in two layers: a lower layer of gravel with a particle size of 5-32mm and a thickness of 100-150mm, topped with a 50mm thick coarse sand layer. The base density must meet the specifications in Table 2. For soft soil foundations, if the bearing capacity is below design requirements or if construction precipitation disturbs the original soil, thereby affecting the foundation's bearing capacity, the foundation must be reinforced first. Only after achieving the specified bearing capacity should the medium-coarse sand layer be laid.

2. The axillary corner within the supporting angle range of the designed earth arc foundation must be backfilled with medium-coarse sand or gravel soil. The backfill range should be at least the supporting angle 2α plus 30 degrees, and the compactness of the backfill must comply with technical regulation requirements.

3. Grooves for the socket interface and sleeve connection in the pipeline foundation should be dug concurrently with the pipeline laying. The groove's length, width, and depth should correspond to the pipe joint size. After completing the joint, immediately backfill with medium-coarse sand to ensure proper density.

4. For sections where longitudinal uneven settlement may occur due to pipeline load and soil changes, the foundation must be fortified before laying the pipeline.
For treating the foundation of polyethylene drainage pipes, methods like sand piles and stone piles should be used. Rigid foundation treatments such as driven piles, concrete pads, and concrete strip foundations should be avoided.
