Installation Instructions

Our HDPE double-wall bellows offer versatile connection modes with b and c tubes, including both mechanical and advanced thermal fusion techniques. The key connection methods available are butt fusion, electrical fusion, socket fusion, flange adapter connections, and compression connections, ensuring a secure and adaptable installation for every project.

1. Begin your pipeline installation by establishing a robust earth arc foundation. For areas with general soil quality, lay a foundation of medium coarse sand approximately 100mm thick on undisturbed soil or compacted backfill beneath the pipe. In cases where the soil quality is less than ideal, consider using a sand gravel base layer of at least 200mm thick, potentially consisting of two layers: a lower gravel layer (5~32mm particles, 100~150mm thick) topped with a coarse sand layer no less than 50mm thick. Ensure that base density adheres to the standards set out in Table 2. For soft soil foundations, it's crucial to reinforce the foundation if its bearing capacity is below design requirements, or if disturbed during construction, affecting surface stability. Once the foundation meets the necessary bearing capacity, proceed to lay the medium coarse sand base layer.

2. When backfilling the axillary corners within the supporting angle range of the designed earth arc foundation, use medium coarse sand or gravel soil to ensure stability. The backfilling should extend beyond the supporting angle 2α by at least 30, and the compactness of the backfill must align with the technical regulations to guarantee structural integrity.

3. As you lay the pipeline, excavate grooves at the socket interfaces and sleeve connections, tailored to the size of the pipe joints. Once joint assembly is complete, promptly backfill the groove with medium coarse sand to ensure adequate density and prevent any future settlement.

4. In sections susceptible to longitudinal uneven settlement due to pipeline load or ground soil alterations, reinforce the foundation before laying the pipeline to maintain alignment and support over time.
For the foundation treatment of polyethylene drainage pipes, employ composite methods like sand piles or stone piles. Avoid rigid foundation solutions such as driven piles, concrete pads, and concrete strip foundations, which are unsuitable for this application.
