Key methods include butt fusion, electrical fusion, socket fusion, flange adapter connectivity, and compression connections, all designed to ensure robust and secure installations.

1. The pipeline foundation is crucial, beginning with an earth arc base. For general soil conditions, install a 100mm layer of medium coarse sand on the native soil foundation or on a well-compacted backfill foundation below the pipe. For subpar soil quality, implement a sand gravel base of no less than 200mm. This can be a dual-layer setup: a 100~150mm gravel layer (5~32mm particle size) beneath, topped by a 50mm or thicker coarse sand layer. Ensure the base density adheres to Table 2 standards. In cases of soft soil foundations, if the bearing capacity falls short of design specs due to construction-induced subsidence or other factors, reinforce the foundation first. Once the requisite bearing capacity is achieved, lay the medium coarse sand foundation layer.

2. In the support angle range of the pipeline's designed earth arc foundation, backfill the axillary corner with medium coarse sand or gravel soil. This backfilling should extend beyond the supporting angle 2α by at least 30 degrees, with compactness meeting technical regulation standards to maintain integrity.

3. During pipeline foundation preparation, dig grooves for the socket interface and sleeve connections concurrently with the pipeline laying process. Determine the groove's dimensions based on the pipe joint size. Once joints are secured, promptly backfill with medium coarse sand to ensure stability.

4. In sections prone to longitudinal uneven settlement of the pipeline, potentially caused by pipeline load changes or soil shifting, preemptively reinforce the foundation before laying the pipeline to prevent future issues.
Embrace advanced foundation treatment methods such as sand pile and stone pile composite techniques for polyethylene drainage pipe foundations. Avoid rigid measures like driven piles, concrete pads, and concrete strip foundations to maintain system flexibility and integrity.
