Installation Instructions

Our HDPE double-wall bellows and b and c tubes offer versatile connection possibilities, ensuring robust and reliable installations. The available connection techniques include mechanical linkage and an array of advanced thermal fusion processes. Key methods encompass butt fusion, electrical fusion, socket fusion, as well as flange adapter connections and compression connections, each designed for optimal efficiency and durability.

1. Preparation of the pipeline foundation is crucial, and it should rest on a meticulously prepared earth arc. For typical soil conditions, an essential 100mm layer of medium-coarse sand should be precisely laid over undisturbed soil or a compacted backfill foundation beneath the pipe's base. In scenarios where the soil quality is suboptimal, elevate the support with a gravel-sand composite base of at least 200mm thickness. Employ a dual-layer approach: the lower layer composed of 5-32mm sized gravel, ranging from 100 to 150mm in thickness, topped with a robust layer of coarse sand, no less than 50mm thick. The foundation's density must align with the stipulations outlined in Table 2. For soft soil foundations, if the bearing capacity falls short of design specifications due to groundwork disturbances or precipitation, foundational reinforcement is imperative. Once the required bearing capacity is achieved, proceed with laying the medium-coarse sand foundation layer.

2. Within the designed earth arc foundation's support angle range, ensure the axillary corners are meticulously backfilled with medium-coarse sand or gravel soil. The backfilling coverage should extend beyond the supporting angle 2α by an additional 30 degrees. Adhere to the technical regulations to achieve the specified backfilling compactness.

3. In the pipeline installation process, grooves for socket interfaces and sleeve connections should be precisely excavated concurrent with the pipeline's laying. The groove's dimensions—length, width, and depth—must be tailored to the pipe joint's specifications. Upon completing the joint, immediately backfill with medium-coarse sand to ensure density and stability.

4. In sections where longitudinal uneven settlement of the pipeline is a risk due to load variations or ground soil changes, it is vital to reinforce the foundation prior to laying the pipeline. This preemptive action ensures structural integrity and longevity.
For polyethylene drainage pipe foundations, employ composite treatment methods such as sand pile and stone pile strategies for enhanced stability. Rigid foundation treatments like driven piles, concrete pads, and strip foundations are not recommended, as flexible solutions better complement the dynamic nature of drainage systems.
