Choose from butt fusion, for secure jointing; electrical fusion, for precision welding; socket fusion, for ease of assembly; flange adapter connections, for adaptability; and compression connections, for reliable sealing.

1. Begin by preparing a supportive pipeline foundation rooted in earth arc. For standard soil conditions, lay a medium coarse sand base layer 100mm thick on either undisturbed ground or a firmed backfill foundation beneath the pipe. In scenarios where the soil quality is suboptimal, opt for a sand gravel base no thinner than 200mm. Alternatively, construct a dual-layered base: the lower layer of 5~32mm gravel, 100~150mm thick, topped with coarse sand exceeding 50mm in thickness. Base density must align with the criteria in Table 2. For soft soil conditions, should the bearing capacity underperform design expectations or be disturbed by construction factors like precipitation, enhancement of the foundation is crucial. Once the foundation achieves the desired bearing capacity, you may then lay the medium coarse sand layer ensuring stability and durability.

2. The axillary corners within the designed earth arc foundation's support angle of the pipeline must be backfilled using medium coarse sand or gravel soil. The backfill should extend beyond the support angle 2α by at least 30 degrees, ensuring compactness that meets technical regulation standards for enduring structural integrity.

3. As you lay the pipeline, simultaneously excavate grooves at socket interfaces and sleeve connections. Determine groove dimensions—length, width, and depth—based on pipe joint specifications. Upon completing the jointing process, promptly backfill with medium coarse sand to maintain structural density and stability.

4. For sections prone to longitudinal uneven settlement from pipeline load shifts or soil changes, reinforce the foundation prior to laying the pipeline. This proactive approach mitigates future settlement issues, ensuring a stable and secure pipeline installation.
Employ sand pile, stone pile, and other composite foundation techniques for treating polyethylene drainage pipe foundations. Avoid rigid approaches like driven piles, concrete pads, and strip foundations, which may not offer the necessary flexibility and adaptability for polyethylene systems.
