Installation Instructions

The connection methods for our HDPE double-wall bellows and B and C tubes are both versatile and robust. They encompass mechanical connections and an array of thermal fusion techniques, ensuring a secure and reliable assembly. The primary methods include butt fusion, electrical fusion, socket fusion, flange adapter connection, and compression connection, each tailored to provide optimal performance.

1. For a stable pipeline base, begin with an earth arc foundation. For typical soil conditions, lay down a 100mm-thick layer of medium coarse sand on the untouched or compacted backfill foundation beneath the pipe. In areas where the soil quality is subpar, opt for a sand gravel base at least 200mm thick. This can be implemented in two layers: a lower layer of gravel (particle size 5~32mm, 100-150mm thick) and an upper layer of coarse sand not less than 50mm thick. The base density must meet the specifications outlined in Table 2. For soft soil foundations, if the foundation's bearing capacity is compromised due to construction activities or weather, enhance the foundation before proceeding. Once the foundation reaches the desired bearing capacity, lay down the medium coarse sand base.

2. The axillary corner area within the designated supporting angle of the earth arc foundation must be meticulously backfilled with medium coarse sand or gravel soil. Ensure the backfill extends beyond the supporting angle 2α by at least 30 degrees, and the compactness meets technical regulation standards for durability and stability.

3. During the pipeline installation, grooves for socket interfaces and sleeve connections must be precisely excavated alongside the pipeline. The dimensions of these grooves—length, width, and depth—should align with the pipe joint size. Once jointing is complete, promptly backfill the area with medium coarse sand to maintain structural integrity.

4. In sections of the pipeline where uneven longitudinal settlement is anticipated due to factors like load variations or changes in ground soil, strengthen the foundation before pipeline deployment to ensure even distribution and stability.
For the foundation treatment of polyethylene drainage pipes, embrace advanced composite foundation techniques such as sand pile and stone pile methods. Avoid rigid foundation solutions like driven piles, concrete pads, and strip foundations to maintain flexibility and resilience.
