The versatile connection modes of HDPE double-wall bellows, as well as b and c tubes, encompass both mechanical and a range of sophisticated thermal fusion techniques. Key connection methods include the robust butt fusion, precise electrical fusion, secure socket fusion, reliable flange adapter connection, and efficient compression connection, ensuring flexibility and reliability in various applications.
1. The pipeline should rest upon an earth arc base. In general soil conditions, a layer of medium coarse sand with a thickness of 100mm should be placed on the undisturbed soil foundation or compacted backfill foundation below the pipe's bottom. For poorer soil quality, a sand gravel base layer, at least 200mm thick, may be used. This can be layered with a lower gravel layer, particle size 5~32mm, 100~150mm thick, and an upper coarse sand layer no less than 50mm thick. The base density must comply with Table 2 standards. In cases of soft soil foundation where the bearing capacity is inadequate due to construction precipitation or other disturbances, the foundation must be fortified. Once the required bearing capacity is achieved, lay the medium coarse sand foundation layer.
2. The axillary corner within the supporting angle range of the pipeline's designed earth arc foundation must be thoroughly backfilled with medium coarse sand or gravel soil. The backfilling should extend beyond the supporting angle 2α by at least 30 degrees, ensuring it meets the compactness specifications outlined in the technical regulations.
3. As you lay the pipeline, dig grooves for the socket interface and sleeve connections at the foundation. Determine groove dimensions based on the pipe joint size. After joint completion, immediately backfill the density with medium coarse sand to ensure a stable and secure connection.
4. In sections where longitudinal uneven settlement might occur due to pipeline load or ground soil changes, it's imperative to reinforce the foundation prior to laying the pipeline, thereby ensuring durability and stability over time.
For the foundation treatment of polyethylene drainage pipes, utilize composite methods like sand pile, stone pile, and other innovative solutions. Avoid rigid treatment measures such as driven piles, concrete pads, and concrete strip foundations to maintain flexibility and efficiency in the installation process.
