The connection modes of our HDPE double-wall bellows and B & C tubes encompass a versatile array of solutions, including both mechanical connections and a sophisticated series of thermal fusion techniques. The primary methodologies are butt fusion, ensuring a seamless and robust joint; electrical fusion, providing precision and efficiency; socket fusion, known for its reliability; flange adapter connection for modular flexibility; and compression connection, offering ease of installation.
1. The pipeline installation begins with an earth arc foundation. For typical soil conditions, a medium-coarse sand base layer, 100mm thick, should be laid on either the undisturbed soil foundation or a compacted backfill foundation beneath the pipe. In cases of poor soil quality, consider using a sand-gravel base layer of at least 200mm thickness. This can be layered with an initial 100-150mm of gravel (5~32mm particle size), topped with a coarse sand layer of at least 50mm thickness. Ensure base density adheres to the standards in Table 2. For soft soil foundations where the bearing capacity is below design requirements or affected by factors like construction precipitation, the foundation must first be strengthened. Once it meets the specified bearing capacity, lay the medium-coarse sand foundation layer.
2. When preparing the axillary corner within the designed earth arc foundation's support angle, it is crucial to backfill with medium-coarse sand or gravel soil. This backfilling must extend beyond the support angle 2α by at least 30 degrees. Ensure the backfill compactness meets the technical regulation standards for optimal stability and performance.
3. As you lay the pipeline foundation, grooves for the socket interface and sleeve connections should be dug concurrently. The dimensions of these grooves—length, width, and depth—depend on the pipe joint size. Following the completion of joint work, promptly backfill the area with medium-coarse sand to achieve the necessary density and stabilization.
4. In pipeline sections prone to longitudinal uneven settlement due to factors like load variation or soil changes, reinforce the foundation before pipeline installation. This proactive step mitigates potential issues and ensures long-term durability and reliability.
For treating the foundation of polyethylene drainage pipes, opt for composite foundation techniques such as sand or stone piling. Avoid rigid methods like driven piles, concrete pads, and strip foundations to maintain flexibility and adaptability in varying soil conditions.
