Installation Instructions

The connection modes for the highly efficient HDPE double-wall bellows, along with b and c tubes, encompass a variety of mechanical and thermal fusion techniques. Key methods include: butt fusion, which ensures seamless continuity; electrical fusion, providing strong, reliable joints; socket fusion for a tight, secure fit; flange adapter connections for versatile assembly; and compression connections for a robust, leak-resistant seal.

1. To ensure optimal installation, the pipeline should rest on a well-prepared earth arc base. For general soil conditions, initiate by laying a 100mm thick layer of medium coarse sand on the undisturbed or compacted backfill soil foundation beneath the pipe. In scenarios where foundation soil quality is subpar, a sand gravel base layer with a minimum thickness of 200mm should be employed. This can be constructed in two layers: the lower consisting of gravel with a particle size of 5~32mm and a thickness of 100~150mm, and the upper layer composed of coarse sand no less than 50mm thick. The base density must meet the stipulations outlined in Table 2. For soft soil foundations, should the foundation's bearing capacity fall short of design standards, or be impaired due to construction-related disturbances, it's crucial to reinforce the foundation. Once the required bearing capacity is achieved, proceed by laying the medium coarse sand foundation layer.

2. For the supporting angle foundation of the pipeline's earth arc design, the axillary corner must be robustly backfilled with medium coarse sand or gravel. This backfill must extend beyond the supporting Angle 2α plus 30 degrees to ensure structural integrity. The compactness of the backfill must adhere strictly to specified technical regulations to maintain durability and reliability.

3. When working with the pipeline foundation, ensure that the grooves for socket interfaces and sleeve connections are meticulously excavated in tandem with the pipeline's progression. Determine the groove's dimensions based on the specific pipe joint size, ensuring a precise fit. After joint completion, promptly backfill with medium coarse sand to secure density and maintain stability.

4. In pipeline sections susceptible to longitudinal uneven settlement due to factors such as variable pipeline load and shifting ground conditions, preemptive reinforcement of the foundation is essential before pipeline installation. This ensures enhanced stability and longevity, safeguarding against potential settlement issues.
For the treatment of polyethylene drainage pipe foundations, employ composite methods like sand piles and stone piles for effective reinforcement. Avoid rigid foundation treatments, such as driven piles, concrete pads, or concrete strip foundations, as these are unsuitable for ensuring the flexibility and durability required by polyethylene systems.
