Installation Instructions

The robust connection methods for our HDPE double-wall bellows and b and c tubes exhibit versatility and precision. They encompass mechanical connections and a suite of advanced thermal fusion processes. The primary methods include butt fusion, electrofusion, socket fusion, flange adapter connection, and compression connection, each ensuring a secure and seamless integration.

1. Establishing a firm foundation is crucial; the pipeline must rest on an earth arc. In typical soil conditions, a 100mm thick medium coarse sand base layer should be applied atop an undisturbed soil foundation or a compacted backfill. For suboptimal soil, a resilient sand gravel base layer of at least 200mm thick is recommended, potentially laid in two layers. The lower layer consists of gravel with a 5~32mm particle size, at a thickness of 100~150mm, while the upper layer is composed of coarse sand, no less than 50mm thick. The base density should meet the specifications of Table 2. In cases of soft soil foundations with inadequate bearing capacity due to surface disturbances or construction-related precipitation, it is imperative to first reinforce the foundation. Once the desired bearing capacity is achieved, lay the medium coarse sand foundation layer.

2. The axillary corners, integral to the supporting angle of the pipeline's designed earth arc foundation, must be meticulously backfilled with medium coarse sand or gravel soil. The backfill area should extend beyond the supporting angle 2α by at least 30, with compactness adhering strictly to the technical regulation standards.

3. Meticulous care should be exercised in the excavation of grooves for the socket interface and sleeve connection along the pipeline foundation. These grooves should be crafted concurrently with pipeline laying, with dimensions tailored to the pipe joint size. Upon completing the joint, it is crucial to immediately backfill the area densely with medium coarse sand.

4. In sections susceptible to longitudinal uneven settlement due to pipeline load or changes in ground soil, it is essential to reinforce the foundation prior to laying the pipeline. This preemptive measure ensures structural integrity and longevity.
For the foundation treatment of polyethylene drainage pipes, embrace innovative composite foundation solutions such as sand piles and stone piles. Avoid rigid techniques like driven piles, concrete pads, and concrete strip foundations to maintain flexibility and adaptability.
