Each connection mode is designed to enhance durability and efficiency, ensuring your stormwater drainage system operates flawlessly.
1. Begin with a solid foundation for your pipeline installation. For typical soil conditions, lay a medium coarse sand base layer, 100mm thick, on either undisturbed soil or a compacted backfill base beneath the pipe. In cases of suboptimal soil quality, opt for a sand gravel base layer no less than 200mm thick. This can be constructed in two layers: a lower gravel layer with particle sizes of 5~32mm, 100~150mm thick, topped by a coarse sand layer of at least 50mm in thickness. Ensure the base density meets the standards outlined in Table 2. For soft soil foundations, if the bearing capacity is underestimated due to construction or precipitation, reinforce the foundation first. Once the required bearing capacity is achieved, lay the medium coarse sand foundation layer to perfection.
2. Enhance the structural integrity of your pipeline by backfilling axillary corners within the supporting angle of the earth arc foundation with medium coarse sand or gravel soil. The backfilling area should expand at least 30 beyond the supporting angle 2α, ensuring compactness meets technical regulatory standards for optimal structural support.
3. During pipeline foundation laying, excavate grooves at socket interfaces and sleeve connections in alignment with the pipeline. Tailor the groove's length, width, and depth to the joint size. Once jointing is finalized, promptly backfill with medium coarse sand to restore density and stability, guaranteeing secure, seamless connections.
4. Strengthen areas vulnerable to longitudinal uneven settlement due to pipeline load or changing ground conditions before laying your pipeline. This proactive reinforcement preserves the integrity and alignment of your drainage system.
For polyethylene drainage pipe foundations, employ advanced composite treatment methods such as sand or stone piles. Refrain from rigid treatments like driven piles, concrete pads, or strip foundations, as these do not complement the flexibility and resilience of polyethylene systems.
