Key connection modes include butt fusion, electrical fusion, socket fusion, flange adapter connections, and compression connections, each ensuring a secure and enduring fit.

1. The pipeline should rest on an earthen arc base. For typical soil conditions, it's essential to lay a 100mm layer of medium coarse sand on the undisturbed soil foundation or on a compacted backfill base beneath the pipeline. If the foundation soil is suboptimal, consider a sand gravel base at least 200mm thick, which can be layered: a lower layer of gravel with particle sizes from 5~32mm and thickness between 100~150mm, topped with a coarse sand layer no thinner than 50mm. The base density must align with Table 2 specifications. For soft soil foundations lacking the necessary bearing capacity, either due to design shortfalls or construction-induced disturbances, reinforcement of the foundation is mandatory before laying the medium coarse sand foundation layer.

2. Backfilling in the axillary corner within the support angle range of the pipeline's designed earth arc foundation is crucial, using medium coarse sand or gravel soil. The backfill area must exceed the support angle 2α by 30, with compactness adhering strictly to technical regulations, ensuring stability and durability.

3. As you lay the pipeline, correspondently excavate grooves for the socket interface and sleeve connections in the pipeline foundation. The groove's dimensions—length, width, and depth—should match the pipe joint size. Once the joint is completed, immediately backfill the area with medium coarse sand to ensure stability.

4. For sections where longitudinal uneven settlement might occur due to pipeline load or ground soil shifts, it is vital to reinforce the foundation prior to pipeline installation, ensuring long-term structural integrity.
For treating foundations of polyethylene drainage pipes, employ composite methods such as sand piles or stone piles. Avoid rigid foundation treatments, including driven piles, concrete pads, or concrete strip foundations, to maintain the flexibility and adaptability of the drainage system.
