1. Begin with a solid groundwork for your pipeline installation by establishing a reliable earth arc foundation. For standard soil quality, lay a 100mm thick medium coarse sand base over the untouched soil foundation or a compacted backfilled base beneath the pipe. In cases of poor soil quality, opt for a sand gravel base no less than 200mm thick, possibly laid in two layers. The lower layer consists of gravel with a particle size of 5~32mm and a thickness of 100~150mm, while the upper layer is fortified with coarse sand at a minimum thickness of 50mm. Ensure the base density complies with Table 2 standards. For soft soil foundations where the bearing capacity is insufficient or compromised by construction activities, fortify the original foundation before proceeding. Once the required bearing capacity is achieved, layer the foundation with medium coarse sand for optimal stability.

2. Ensure stability within the axillary corner of the designed earth arc foundation by backfilling with medium coarse sand or gravel soil. This critical backfilling should extend beyond the supporting Angle 2α by an additional 30 degrees, adhering to the compactness specifications outlined in the technical regulations.

3. As you lay your pipeline, meticulously carve grooves for socket interfaces and sleeve connections. Tailor the grooves' length, width, and depth to the specific dimensions of the pipe joint. Upon completing the joint, promptly backfill with medium coarse sand to ensure robust compaction.

4. In sections prone to longitudinal uneven settlement due to variations in pipeline load and soil conditions, proactively reinforce the foundation prior to pipeline installation to mitigate potential issues.
For the foundation treatment of polyethylene drainage pipes, embrace innovative composite methods such as sand piles and stone piles. Avoid traditional rigid measures like driven piles, concrete pads, and concrete strip foundations, ensuring a modern, flexible approach to stability.
