Installation Instructions

The connection modes of HDPE double-wall bellows and b and c tubes offer a versatile range of options, including mechanical connection and an array of advanced thermal fusion procedures. The primary methods encompass butt fusion, electrical fusion, socket fusion, flange adapter connection, and compression connection, ensuring a secure and reliable assembly for your drainage solutions.

1. The pipeline should rest on an earth arc base. For standard soil conditions, a medium coarse sand base layer of 100mm thickness should be laid over either undisturbed soil foundation or a foundation compacted with backfill below the pipe's bottom. When dealing with poorer soil quality, consider using a sand gravel base layer no less than 200mm thick, which can be layered twice: the lower layer consisting of gravel with a particle size of 5~32mm and a thickness of 100~150mm; the upper layer being coarse sand, with a minimum thickness of 50mm. The base density must meet the specifications in Table 2. For soft soil foundations, if the foundation's bearing capacity falls short of design needs or is compromised by construction precipitation, resulting in surface disruption, the foundation must first be fortified. Once the required bearing capacity is achieved, proceed with laying the medium coarse sand foundation layer.

2. The axillary corner within the designed earth arc foundation's supporting Angle of the pipeline must be filled with medium coarse sand or gravel soil. The backfill range should extend beyond the supporting Angle 2α by at least 30 degrees, and the backfill compactness must adhere to the technical regulations, ensuring stability and structural integrity.

3. As you lay the pipeline, ensure that grooves in the socket interface and sleeve connection are excavated concurrently. The dimensions of the groove—length, width, and depth—should correspond with the size of the pipe joint. After completing the joint, immediately backfill with medium coarse sand to achieve the required density, thereby maintaining the pipeline's stability and durability.

4. In areas where longitudinal uneven settlement of the pipeline is a potential concern due to factors like pipeline load or changes in ground soil, it is crucial to reinforce the foundation prior to pipeline installation. This proactive measure will safeguard against future structural challenges.
For the foundation treatment of polyethylene drainage pipes, consider adopting sand pile, stone pile, and other composite foundation treatment methods. Avoid using rigid foundation methods such as driven piles, concrete pads, or concrete strip foundations, as they may not provide the necessary flexibility and resilience required for optimal performance.
