The connection techniques for HDPE double-wall bellows, along with b and c tubes, boast an array of mechanical and thermal fusion methodologies. This versatile selection includes the precision of butt fusion, the reliability of electrical fusion, the simplicity of socket fusion, and the practicality of flange adapter and compression connections.
1. Begin with a foundation based on an earth arc for your pipeline. In areas of general soil quality, ensure a layer of medium coarse sand, measuring 100mm thick, is placed over the undisturbed soil or compacted backfill foundation beneath the pipe's base. For foundations of inferior quality, employ a sand gravel base layer at least 200mm thick. Alternatively, opt for a dual-layer approach: the bottom layer, comprising gravel with particle sizes between 5-32mm, should be 100-150mm thick, topped by a coarse sand layer of no less than 50mm. Adhere strictly to the density guidelines in Table 2. In the case of soft foundations lacking the necessary load-bearing capacity or when construction precipitation disturbs the soil, reinforce the foundation first. Only after achieving the specified bearing capacity should you proceed to lay the medium coarse sand foundation layer.
2. Within the designed earth arc foundation's supporting angle of the pipeline, ensure the axillary corner is robustly backfilled with either medium coarse sand or gravel soil. The backfill must extend beyond the supporting angle 2α plus 30, and the compactness must align with the technical regulation standards.
3. As you lay the pipeline, ensure that the grooves for the socket interface and sleeve connection are excavated accordingly. The dimensions of these grooves, in terms of length, width, and depth, should match the pipe joint size. Upon joint completion, promptly backfill with medium coarse sand to achieve the required density.
4. In sections where the pipeline's longitudinal stability might be compromised due to load variations or changes in ground soil, it is crucial to reinforce the foundation adequately before proceeding with pipeline installation.
For the treatment of polyethylene drainage pipe foundations, adopt composite methods like sand piles and stone piles. Avoid rigid treatment measures such as driven piles and concrete foundations—whether pad or strip.
