Installation Instructions

 

For connecting HDPE double-wall bellows and B and C tubes, you have versatile options including mechanical connections and a range of advanced thermal fusion techniques. The primary methods consist of butt fusion, electrofusion, socket fusion, flange adapter connections, and compression connections. Each method ensures a secure and durable bond tailored to your specific needs.

1. The pipeline must be based on an earth arc foundation. For standard soil, a 100mm-thick layer of medium coarse sand should be laid on either undisturbed soil or a compacted backfill foundation beneath the pipe. In cases of poor soil quality, employ a sand gravel base layer of at least 200mm thick. This can be dual-layered: the lower 100-150mm layer is gravel (particle size 5~32mm), topped with at least 50mm of coarse sand. The base density should align with Table 2 specifications. For soft soil foundations, if the bearing capacity falls short of design requirements or is compromised by construction activities or precipitation, the foundation must be reinforced. Only after achieving the specified bearing capacity should the medium coarse sand foundation layer be laid.

2. The axillary corner within the supporting angle range of the designed earth arc foundation must be backfilled with medium coarse sand or gravel. The backfill must cover a range no less than the supporting angle 2α plus 30, and its compactness should meet the technical regulation standards.
 

 

3. When laying the pipeline, dig grooves for the socket interface and sleeve connection concurrently. The groove's length, width, and depth should correspond to the pipe joint size. After completing the joint, backfill with medium coarse sand immediately to ensure proper density.

4. For segments where longitudinal uneven settlement may occur due to factors like pipeline load or soil changes, reinforce the foundation before laying the pipeline to ensure stability and longevity.
For treating polyethylene drainage pipe foundations, use composite methods such as sand piles or stone piles. Avoid rigid treatments like driven piles, concrete pads, or concrete strip foundations, as they are unsuitable for this application.
