Installation Instructions

 

1. For the installation of buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, exclusively utilize state-of-the-art electric fusion welding and precision-engineered hot melt docking methods. Under no circumstances should screw connections or bonding be employed. Ensure each type of polyethylene water supply pipeline connection is executed with specialized tools designed for the task. Avoid the use of open flames for heating during the connection process to maintain the integrity and safety of the installation.

2. Polyethylene pipes must be connected using PE pipes and fittings of the same distinguished brand, material, and SDR rating. Prior to commencing the connection, conduct a meticulous test to confirm the quality meets the stringent required standards, ensuring a reliable and durable pipeline system.

3. When joining polyethylene water supply pipelines, maintain pristine, debris-free pipe ends. Temporarily seal pipe openings at the end of each work session to protect against contamination. Immediately inspect the interface upon completing the connection to ensure a flawless join.

 

4. Both before and after performing hot melt butt welding, meticulously clean the heating plate with a pristine cotton cloth. Adhere strictly to the precise heating time and temperature guidelines specified by the manufacturers of the cutting-edge hot melt butt welding machine and the pipes and fittings.

5. Follow the exact prescribed pressure holding and cooling durations for hot melt butt welding as stipulated by the equipment and pipe manufacturers. During these critical periods, it is crucial not to move or apply pressure to the connecting parts to guarantee a perfect bond and avoid any potential defects.

6. Post-connection, it is essential to conduct a thorough water pressure test on the pipes within 1 hour after completing the hot-melt weld. Secure the pipeline and expose the joints prior to the hydrostatic test. Fill the pipeline with water, purge all air, and then meticulously check for water tightness to validate the integrity of the connections.

7. The pipeline engineering construction can only be deemed operational after successfully passing the rigorous final acceptance inspection, ensuring that all standards and quality measures have been met.
