Installation Instructions
1. Before embarking on the installation journey, every Wilvida HDPE PE100 Composite Pipe, 75mm Water Supply Pipe must pass a meticulous inspection process. This guarantees that only pipes meeting our exceptional quality benchmarks proceed to installation. Any pipe falling short of these rigorous standards is strictly barred from use, ensuring only the finest in pipeline excellence.
2. Handle these precious pipes with the greatest caution during relocation. Avoid dragging, rolling, or utilizing heavy machinery such as forklifts or tractors that could potentially harm the pipes in the trench. This careful handling ensures the pipes' pristine condition is maintained.
3. Maintain a water-free trench throughout the pipe-laying process. Ideally, synchronize trench excavation with pipe installation. The trench groove should match the interface length and feature a depth of 50-100mm with a width no less than the pipe's outer diameter. Upon completing the interface, promptly backfill the groove with medium coarse sand to secure the installation.
4. For precision cutting of pipes to the desired lengths, always use mechanical methods that produce clean, flat cuts perpendicular to the pipe axis. Avoid open flames to preserve the structural integrity of the pipes.
5. When modifying pipe diameters or incorporating branch pipes, always select appropriate pipe fittings. Avoid creating direct openings on pipes or fittings for connections, as this practice preserves the system's integrity and performance.
6. Lay pipes according to the precise slope specified in the design requirements, ensuring elevation errors remain within the boundaries set by the national standard GB 50268, 'Code for the Construction and Application of Water Supply and Drainage Pipe Engineering'.
7. In environments with low ambient temperatures or near-minimum thresholds, opt for fusion or flange connections. Guarantee that all connecting parts, including sockets, sleeves, and seals, are spotlessly clean and free from soil, water, or impurities. Apply anti-corrosion treatments to metal components like looping flanges and bolts according to soil quality and relevant standards, ensuring long-lasting durability.
