Installation Instructions
1. Before embarking on the installation journey of each Wilvida HDPE PE100 Composite Pipe, 75mm Water Supply Pipe, a meticulous inspection is essential. This is to ensure that each piece aligns impeccably with the zenith of product standards. Any pipe that dares to fall short of these meticulous standards will be strictly barred from installation.
2. Exercise supreme caution when managing the movement of each pipe. Handle with care to avoid dragging or rolling, and steer clear of employing heavy machinery like forklifts or tractors which might compromise the pipe's integrity within the trench.
3. Maintain the trench in pristine, water-free condition throughout the pipe-laying procedure. Ideally, synchronize trench excavation with pipe installation. The trench groove length must correspond precisely with the interface length, featuring a depth of 50-100mm and a width that meets or exceeds the pipe's outer diameter. After completing the interface, promptly backfill the groove with medium coarse sand.
4. When tailoring pipes to specific lengths, employ mechanical methods to achieve cuts that are clean, flat, and perfectly perpendicular to the pipe axis. The use of open flames for cutting is strictly discouraged to preserve the pipe's integrity.
5. For alterations in pipe diameters or when connecting branch pipes, always opt for the appropriate pipe fittings. Avoid cutting corners by making direct openings on pipes or fittings, as this could jeopardize the entire system's integrity.
6. Lay each pipe precisely according to the slope specified within the design requirements. Ensure that the elevation error is contained within the tolerances defined by the national standard GB 50268, 'Code for the Construction and Application of Water Supply and Drainage Pipe Engineering.'
7. In situations characterized by low ambient temperatures or conditions near their minimum thresholds, employ fusion or flange connections. Ensure that all connecting elements, including sockets, sleeves, and seals, are immaculate and free from soil, water, or any impurities. Apply anti-corrosion treatments to metal components like looping flanges and bolts, taking into account the soil quality and adhering to relevant standards.
