Installation Instructions
1. Before embarking on the installation journey, each Wilvida HDPE PE100 Composite Pipe, 75mm Water Supply Pipe must pass a meticulous inspection, ensuring compliance with the highest echelon of product standards. Pipes that fall short of these exacting standards are strictly forbidden from use, maintaining the uncompromising quality we stand by.
2. Handle each pipe with the greatest care as you move them, avoiding any dragging or rolling. Refrain from using heavy machinery like forklifts, tractors, or similar equipment that could potentially harm the pipes in their trench, preserving their pristine condition.
3. To ensure seamless pipe-laying, maintain a dry trench environment throughout the process. Coordinate trench excavation with pipe installation for optimum efficiency. The trench groove should have a length matching the interface length, with a depth of 50-100mm and a width no less than the pipe's external diameter. Once the interface is completed, promptly backfill the groove with medium coarse sand for stability.
4. For precise pipe length adjustments, use mechanical cutting methods to achieve clean, flat cuts that are perfectly perpendicular to the pipe axis. Steer clear of open flames to prevent compromising the pipe's integrity and ensure a smooth installation.
5. When modifying pipe diameters or attaching branch pipes, always opt for the appropriate pipe fittings. Avoid direct openings on pipes or fittings for connections, which could jeopardize the system's integrity. Trust only suitable fittings to maintain the seamless functionality of your system.
6. Adhere to the specified slope during pipe laying, as dictated by the design requirements, ensuring any elevation deviations remain within the limits set by the national standard GB 50268, 'Code for the Construction and Application of Water Supply and Drainage Pipe Engineering,' thus ensuring flawless alignment and efficiency.
7. In environments with low ambient temperatures or near-minimum thresholds, employ fusion or flange connections for a secure fit. Make sure all connecting components, such as sockets, sleeves, and seals, are thoroughly cleaned and free of soil, water, or any impurities. Apply anti-corrosion measures to metal parts like looping flanges and bolts, tailored to soil quality and relevant standards, ensuring longevity and durability of the installation.
