Installation Instructions
1. Before commencing installation, it is imperative that every Wilvida HDPE PE100 Composite Pipe, 75mm Water Supply Pipe undergoes an exhaustive inspection. This rigorous quality check is designed to ensure each pipe meets the pinnacle of product standards. Should any pipe fail to conform to these exacting standards, its installation is strictly forbidden.
2. Handle each pipe with the utmost diligence during transportation. It is crucial to avoid dragging, rolling, or deploying heavy machinery-such as forklifts or tractors-that might inflict damage during trench placement.
3. Keep the trench devoid of water throughout the pipe-laying operation. Ideally, synchronize trench excavation with pipe installation for efficiency. The trench groove should precisely mirror the interface length, with a depth range of 50-100mm and a width that is no less than the pipe's outer diameter. Immediately upon completing the interface, backfill the groove with a layer of medium coarse sand.
4. When cutting pipes to specific lengths, utilize mechanical methods to achieve pristine, straight cuts that are perpendicular to the pipe axis. Avoid using open flames for cutting to preserve the integrity of the pipe.
5. For alterations in pipe diameters or when connecting branch pipes, it is essential to use appropriate pipe fittings. Never create direct openings on pipes or fittings for connections, as this compromises the system's integrity.
6. Adhere to the prescribed slope specified in the design requirements when laying pipes, ensuring the elevation error remains within the boundaries set by the national standard GB 50268, 'Code for the Construction and Application of Water Supply and Drainage Pipe Engineering'.
7. In environments where ambient temperatures are low or near the minimum threshold, adopt fusion or flange connections. It is crucial that all connecting components, including sockets, sleeves, and seals, are immaculate and free from soil, water, or other impurities. Apply anti-corrosion treatments to metal parts like looping flanges and bolts, informed by soil quality and relevant standards.
