Installation Instructions
1. Before embarking on the installation journey, each Wilvida HDPE PE100 Composite Pipe, 75mm Water Supply Pipe must pass through a meticulous inspection. This ensures each pipe aligns with the pinnacle of product standards. Should any pipe falter in this rigorous evaluation, it is strictly barred from installation, safeguarding the integrity of your infrastructure.
2. Handle each pipe with exceptional diligence during relocation. Refrain from dragging or rolling, and avoid the use of heavy machinery such as forklifts, tractors, or any equipment that might inflict damage upon the pipes within the trench. Such careful handling preserves the pristine condition of the pipes.
3. Maintain a water-free trench throughout the pipe-laying process to ensure optimal conditions. Excavate the trench in synchronization with pipe installation for efficiency. The trench groove should perfectly match the interface length, with a depth of 50-100mm and a width no less than the pipe's outer diameter. Upon completing the interface, promptly backfill the groove with medium coarse sand to secure the pipes.
4. For a precise fit, use mechanical methods to cut pipes to the necessary lengths, achieving clean and flat cuts perpendicular to the pipe axis. Avoid using open flames to cut the pipes, as this preserves their structural integrity and ensures seamless installation.
5. When modifying pipe diameters or attaching branch pipes, always opt for appropriate pipe fittings. To uphold system integrity, refrain from making direct openings on pipes or fittings for connections. This practice ensures your system remains robust and reliable.
6. Lay pipes according to the design requirements' specified slope, ensuring any elevation errors remain within the confines of the national standard GB 50268, 'Code for the Construction and Application of Water Supply and Drainage Pipe Engineering.' This precision guarantees the proper functioning and longevity of the system.
7. In low ambient temperatures or near-minimum thresholds, employ fusion or flange connections. Ensure all connecting parts, such as sockets, sleeves, and seals, are meticulously clean, without soil, water, or impurities. Apply anti-corrosion treatments to metal components, including looping flanges and bolts, tailored to soil quality and relevant standards, to extend the lifespan of your water supply system.
