Installation Instructions

1. Before embarking on the installation process for each Wilvida HDPE PE100 Composite Pipe, specifically the 75mm Water Supply Pipe, ensure that it undergoes a meticulous and comprehensive inspection. This is to assure that every piece aligns flawlessly with the most exacting product standards. Pipes that do not meet these rigorous criteria are strictly not permitted for installation.

2. Exercise the highest level of caution when handling each pipe during movement. Ensure that dragging, rolling, or employing heavy machinery such as forklifts, tractors, or any equipment that could potentially harm the pipes in the trench is strictly avoided.

3. Maintain a water-free trench environment throughout the pipe-laying procedure. Ideally, synchronize trench excavation with the pipe installation process. Ensure the trench groove length matches the interface length, with a depth ranging from 50-100mm and a width that is not less than the external diameter of the pipe. As soon as the interface is completed, immediately backfill the groove with medium coarse sand.

4. For cutting pipes to the necessary lengths, utilize precise mechanical methods to achieve clean, flat, and perpendicular cuts in relation to the pipe axis. Avoid the use of open flames for cutting purposes to preserve the pipe's structural integrity.

5. When altering pipe diameters or integrating branch pipes, always use appropriate pipe fittings. Directly opening pipes or fittings for connections should be avoided to maintain the integrity and reliability of the system.

6. Position the pipes according to the precise slope detailed in the design specifications, ensuring that the elevation discrepancy remains within the boundaries set by the national standard GB 50268, 'Code for the Construction and Application of Water Supply and Drainage Pipe Engineering'.

7. In instances of low ambient temperatures or when temperatures approach minimal thresholds, use fusion or flange connections. Ensure that all connecting components, including sockets, sleeves, and seals, are immaculate, free from soil, water, or any other impurities. Apply anti-corrosion treatments to metal parts such as looping flanges and bolts, taking into account soil quality and adhering to relevant standards.
