Installation Instructions
1. Before embarking on the installation journey, ensure each Wilvida HDPE PE100 Composite Pipe, designed for a 75mm Water Supply, undergoes an exhaustive inspection. This meticulous process guarantees that only pipes meeting the pinnacle of product standards grace your project. Any pipe falling short of these rigorous benchmarks is strictly barred from inclusion.
2. Handle each pipe with the utmost precision and care during transportation. Avoid any actions like dragging, rolling, or using heavy machinery such as forklifts and tractors that might jeopardize their integrity in the trench. Preserve the pristine condition of your pipes.
3. Keep the trench impeccably dry throughout the pipe-laying phase. Ideally, synchronize trench excavation with the installation of pipes. Ensure the trench groove length matches the interface length, with a depth ranging from 50-100mm and a width not less than the pipe's outer diameter. Upon completing the interface, promptly backfill with medium coarse sand to secure the installation.
4. Achieve precision when cutting pipes to desired lengths by using mechanical methods, ensuring cuts are clean, flat, and perpendicular to the pipe axis. Resist the temptation to use open flames for cutting, as maintaining the pipe's integrity is paramount.
5. Whenever altering pipe diameters or connecting branch pipes, always employ suitable pipe fittings. Avoid creating direct openings on pipes or fittings for connections to preserve the system's seamless integrity.
6. Adhere to the designated slope specified in the design requirements when laying pipes. Ensure that the elevation error remains within the confines of the national standard GB 50268, 'Code for the Construction and Application of Water Supply and Drainage Pipe Engineering', guaranteeing precision and reliability in your project.
7. In circumstances of low ambient temperatures or conditions near the minimum thresholds, opt for fusion or flange connections. Guarantee that all connecting components, including sockets, sleeves, and seals, are immaculate and free from soil, water, or any impurities. Apply anti-corrosion measures to metal parts like looping flanges and bolts, tailored to soil quality and pertinent standards, ensuring durability and longevity.
