Installation Instructions

1. Before embarking on the installation journey, every Wilvida HDPE PE100 Composite Pipe, 75mm Water Supply Pipe must undergo a meticulous inspection process, ensuring they meet the pinnacle of product standards. Pipes that do not conform to these rigorous criteria are strictly forbidden from installation, upholding the integrity and safety of your water supply system.

2. Handle each pipe with exceptional care during relocation. Avoid dragging or rolling and steer clear of heavy machinery like forklifts or tractors that might harm the pipes in the trench. Your attention to this detail ensures the pipes remain pristine and undamaged.

3. Maintain a water-free environment in the trench throughout the pipe-laying procedure. For optimal results, synchronize trench excavation with pipe installation. Design the trench groove to match the interface length, maintaining a depth of 50-100mm with a width that exceeds the pipe's outer diameter. Promptly backfill the groove with medium coarse sand after the interface is completed, ensuring stability and durability.

4. When cutting pipes to the desired lengths, employ precise mechanical methods that guarantee clean, flat cuts perpendicular to the pipe axis. Avoid open flames entirely, as these can compromise the pipe's structural integrity, thereby ensuring safe and reliable pipe connections.

5. For altering pipe diameters or connecting branch pipes, always employ the correct and suitable pipe fittings. Avoid making any direct openings on pipes or fittings to maintain the integrity and efficiency of the entire system. This careful approach ensures a long-lasting and trouble-free pipeline network.

6. Install pipes following the specified slope detailed in the design requirements, ensuring the elevation error remains within the confines outlined by the national standard GB 50268, 'Code for the Construction and Application of Water Supply and Drainage Pipe Engineering'. Adhering to these guidelines ensures functionality and compliance.

7. In chilly climates or when temperatures approach minimum thresholds, opt for fusion or flange connections. Make sure all connecting parts—sockets, sleeves, and seals—are impeccably clean and free from soil, water, or impurities. Apply anti-corrosion treatments to metal components like looping flanges and bolts, tailored to soil quality and applicable standards, to ensure long-term resilience and performance.
