Installation Instructions
1. Before commencing any installation, every Wilvida HDPE PE100 Composite Pipe, 75mm Water Supply Pipe must be subjected to an exhaustive inspection. This ensures that the pipes strictly comply with the top-tier product standards. Any pipe that does not measure up to these rigorous standards is strictly forbidden from installation, ensuring quality and reliability at every step.
2. Handle each pipe with the greatest precision during transportation. It is critical to avoid dragging or rolling, and refrain from employing heavy machinery such as forklifts or tractors, which might potentially compromise the pipes' integrity within the trench.
3. Maintain the trench in a dry state throughout the pipe-laying process. Ideally, synchronize trench excavation with pipe installation. Ensure the trench groove length aligns seamlessly with the interface length, with a depth of 50-100mm and a width at least equal to the pipe's outer diameter. Once the interface is completed, promptly backfill the groove with medium coarse sand.
4. For cutting pipes to desired lengths, utilize mechanical methods to achieve precise, clean cuts that are perpendicular to the pipe axis. Avoid using open flames to cut, as this could compromise the pipe's integrity.
5. When modifying pipe diameters or adding branch pipes, always employ suitable pipe fittings. This practice prevents the creation of direct openings on pipes or fittings, thereby maintaining the system's integrity and reliability.
6. Lay pipes in accordance with the designated slope specified in the design requirements, ensuring that any elevation discrepancies remain within the boundaries set by the national standard GB 50268, 'Code for the Construction and Application of Water Supply and Drainage Pipe Engineering.'
7. In scenarios of low ambient temperatures or when temperatures near minimum thresholds, utilize fusion or flange connections. Ensure all connecting components, such as sockets, sleeves, and seals, are impeccably clean and free of soil, water, or other contaminants. Apply anti-corrosion treatments to metal parts like looping flanges and bolts, tailored to soil quality and relevant standards, to safeguard and enhance longevity.
