Installation Instructions
1. Prior to installation, each Wilvida HDPE PE100 Composite Pipe, 75mm Water Supply Pipe must undergo a rigorous inspection to guarantee adherence to the highest product standards. Any pipe that fails to meet these stringent standards is unequivocally prohibited from being installed.
2. Exercise the utmost care when handling each pipe during relocation. Avoid dragging, rolling, or the use of heavy machinery such as forklifts, tractors, or any other equipment that may damage the pipes in the trench.
3. Ensure the trench is kept free of water throughout the pipe-laying process. Ideally, excavate the trench in tandem with pipe installation. The trench groove length should correspond with the interface length, featuring a depth of 50-100mm and a width no less than the pipe's outer diameter. Immediately backfill the groove with medium coarse sand upon completing the interface.
4. When cutting pipes to the required lengths, employ mechanical methods to ensure clean, flat cuts perpendicular to the pipe axis. Refrain from using open flames for cutting to maintain pipe integrity.
5. When altering pipe diameters or connecting branch pipes, always utilize suitable pipe fittings. Avoid creating direct openings on pipes or fittings for connections to maintain system integrity.
6. Lay pipes according to the specified slope outlined in the design requirements, ensuring that the elevation error stays within the limits defined by the national standard GB 50268, 'Code for the Construction and Application of Water Supply and Drainage Pipe Engineering'.
7. In conditions of low ambient temperatures or near-minimum thresholds, employ fusion or flange connections. Ensure all connecting parts, including sockets, sleeves, and seals, are clean and devoid of soil, water, or other impurities. Apply anti-corrosion treatments to metal components such as looping flanges and bolts based on soil quality and relevant standards.
