2. Handle each pipe with the utmost precision and care as you transport them. It is essential to avoid dragging, rolling, or employing cumbersome machinery like forklifts, tractors, or any other such equipment that might compromise or damage these vital components during trenching. Preserve the quality and longevity of your installation by following these guidelines.
3. Keep the trench impeccably dry throughout the pipe-laying process to ensure an optimal installation environment. Ideally, synchronize excavation with pipe installation for seamless integration. The groove-length must match the interface length, with a depth between 50-100mm and a width exceeding the pipe's outer diameter. Once the interface is complete, promptly backfill the groove with medium-coarse sand to secure the setup.
4. Ensure precision and accuracy when cutting pipes to the desired lengths by using mechanical methods that deliver clean, flat cuts at perfect right angles to the pipe axis. Steer clear of open flames to maintain the impeccable integrity and performance quality of the pipes.
5. When adapting pipe diameters or seamlessly connecting branch pipes, always employ the corresponding pipe fittings designed for the task. Avoid creating direct openings on the pipes or fittings for connections, as this practice preserves the overall integrity and functionality of your piping system.
6. Adhere to the prescribed slope as specified in the design requirements for pipe laying, ensuring the elevation error remains well within the boundaries of the national standard GB 50268. This standard is your definitive guide for the 'Code for the Construction and Application of Water Supply and Drainage Pipe Engineering,' ensuring every installation is both precise and compliant.
7. In conditions where ambient temperatures are low or approach minimum thresholds, opt for fusion or flange connections for unwavering reliability. Ensure that all connecting elements, such as sockets, sleeves, and seals, are immaculately clean and free of soil, water, or impurities. Apply corrosion-resistant treatments to metal components like looping flanges and bolts, considering soil quality and relevant standards, to enhance the durability and integrity of your installation.
