Installation Instructions

1. For the installation of buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, it is crucial to utilize electric fusion welding and hot melt docking methods exclusively. Screw connections and bonding are strictly prohibited to ensure utmost reliability. Employ specialized tools for every type of polyethylene water supply pipeline connection. Refrain from using open flames for heating during the connection process to maintain safety and integrity.

2. Polyethylene pipes must be joined using PE pipes and fittings that match in brand, material, and SDR rating. Prior to commencing the connection, it is essential to conduct a meticulous test to verify that the quality meets stringent standards.

3. When connecting polyethylene water supply pipelines, ensure the pipe ends are impeccably clean. Temporarily seal the pipe openings at the conclusion of each work session. Promptly inspect the interface upon completing the connection to guarantee a flawless join.

4. Both before and after executing hot melt butt welding, meticulously clean the heating plate with a pristine cotton cloth. Adhere rigorously to the heating time and temperature guidelines provided by the manufacturers of the hot melt butt welding machine and the pipes and fittings to ensure optimum performance.

5. Follow the designated pressure holding and cooling durations for hot melt butt welding as specified by the equipment and pipe manufacturers. During these critical periods, it is imperative not to move or apply pressure to the connecting parts to avoid compromising the weld integrity.

6. Post-connection, it is vital to conduct a water pressure test on the pipes. Perform this test within 1 hour after completing the hot-melt weld. Secure the pipeline and expose the joints prior to the hydrostatic test. Fill the pipeline with water, expel any trapped air, and then meticulously check for water tightness to ensure a leak-free system.

7. The pipeline engineering construction can only be considered operational after it has successfully passed the final acceptance inspection, confirming that all standards and requirements have been met.
