Installation Instructions

1. For the precise installation of buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, it is crucial to exclusively employ electric fusion welding and hot melt docking techniques. The use of screw connections and bonding is strictly prohibited to ensure the highest standards of safety and integrity. Utilize specialized tools designed specifically for each type of polyethylene water supply pipeline connection. Avoid any form of open flame heating during the connection process to maintain material integrity.

2. Ensure a seamless connection of polyethylene pipes by using PE pipes and fittings that share the same brand, material, and SDR rating. Before initiating the connection, conduct a comprehensive test to verify that the quality aligns perfectly with the stipulated standards.

3. To achieve optimal joins in polyethylene water supply pipelines, guarantee that the pipe ends are immaculate. At the end of each workday, temporarily seal the pipe openings. Upon completing each connection, immediately inspect the interface for quality assurance.

4. Prior to and following hot melt butt welding, meticulously clean the heating plate with a pristine cotton cloth to remove any contaminants. Rigorously adhere to the specified heating time and temperature guidelines provided by the manufacturers of the hot melt butt welding machine and the pipes and fittings to ensure a flawless weld.

5. Diligently follow the prescribed pressure holding and cooling durations for hot melt butt welding as per the equipment and pipe manufacturers’ specifications. It is paramount not to disturb or apply additional pressure to the connecting parts during these critical periods to maintain a robust bond.

6. After completing the connection, conducting a water pressure test on the pipes is essential. Perform this test within 1 hour post hot-melt weld to ensure the integrity of the connection. Secure the pipeline, expose the joints, and fill the pipeline with water to purge any air. Subsequently, check for water tightness to confirm a secure installation.

7. The pipeline engineering project can only be considered operational after it has successfully passed the final acceptance inspection, ensuring all standards and requirements have been met with precision.
