Installation Instructions

1. To ensure the utmost safety and reliability in installing buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, exclusively employ electric fusion welding and hot melt docking. The use of screw connections and bonding is strictly prohibited. Each type of polyethylene water supply pipeline requires specialized tools for proper connection. Refrain from using open flames for heating during the connection process to maintain integrity and safety.

2. It is essential that polyethylene pipes are meticulously connected using PE pipes and fittings of the same brand, material, and SDR rating. Before initiating the connection process, conduct a thorough quality test to ensure all materials meet the prescribed standards for superior performance.

3. When joining polyethylene water supply pipelines, ensure the pipe ends are immaculately clean. At the end of each work session, temporarily seal the pipe openings to maintain cleanliness. Inspect each interface immediately after completing the connection to guarantee precision and durability.

4. Prior to and following hot melt butt welding, meticulously clean the heating plate with a pristine cotton cloth to prevent contamination. Adhere strictly to the heating time and temperature guidelines specified by the manufacturers of both the hot melt butt welding machine and the pipes and fittings to achieve optimal results.

5. Follow the exact pressure holding and cooling durations prescribed for hot melt butt welding, as outlined by the equipment and pipe manufacturers. During these critical periods, ensure that no movement or additional pressure is applied to the connecting parts to preserve the integrity of the weld.

6. After completing the connection, promptly conduct a water pressure test on the pipes within 1 hour of finishing the hot-melt weld. Before the hydrostatic test, secure the pipeline and thoroughly expose the joints, fill the pipeline with water, purge any trapped air, and verify the water tightness to ensure perfect sealing.

7. The pipeline engineering construction is only deemed operational after successfully passing the comprehensive final acceptance inspection, ensuring it meets the highest standards of safety and functionality.
