Installation Instructions

1. When installing buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, it is crucial to utilize state-of-the-art electric fusion welding and precise hot melt docking methods exclusively. Avoid using screw connections and bonding, as these are strictly prohibited to ensure integrity. Employ specialized tools designed exclusively for polyethylene water supply pipeline connections, and refrain from using open flames during the entire connection process to prevent any damage or compromise.

2. Polyethylene pipes should always be connected with PE pipes and fittings of the same distinguished brand, identical material, and matching SDR rating. Prior to commencing the connection, conduct a meticulous test to confirm that the quality adheres to all required standards, ensuring a seamless and secure fit.

3. When joining polyethylene water supply pipelines, make certain that the pipe ends are in impeccable condition—clean and ready for a flawless connection. At the end of each work session, temporarily seal the pipe openings to prevent any contamination. Upon completing each connection, promptly inspect the interface to guarantee a perfect union.

4. Before and after performing hot melt butt welding, it is vital to thoroughly clean the heating plate with a pristine cotton cloth. Adhere rigorously to the heating time and temperature guidelines detailed by the manufacturers of the hot melt butt welding machine, as well as those specified for the pipes and fittings, ensuring optimal performance and longevity.

5. Adhere to the prescribed pressure holding and cooling durations for hot melt butt welding as outlined by the equipment and pipe manufacturers. During these critical periods, it is imperative not to move or apply additional pressure to the connecting parts, preserving the integrity and quality of the weld.

6. Following the connection, it is imperative to conduct a comprehensive water pressure test on the pipes. This test should be performed within 1 hour of completing the hot-melt weld. Ensure the pipeline is secured and all joints are exposed prior to the hydrostatic test. Fill the pipeline meticulously with water, purge any air, and verify water tightness to confirm the reliability of the installation.

7. The pipeline engineering construction can only be considered operational and ready for service after successfully passing a detailed and thorough final acceptance inspection.
