Installation Instructions

1. To ensure the optimal performance and longevity of your buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, it is essential to employ only electric fusion welding and hot melt docking techniques. The use of screw connections and bonding methods is strictly forbidden. Guarantee the integrity of each pipeline connection by utilizing specialized tools. Refrain from using open flames during the connection process to avoid compromising the quality.

2. Achieving a flawless connection of polyethylene pipes mandates the use of PE pipes and fittings from the same brand, material, and SDR rating. Prior to initiating the connection, conduct a meticulous inspection to verify that all quality standards are met, ensuring a robust and reliable pipeline system.

3. In the process of joining polyethylene water supply pipelines, it is imperative to maintain the pipe ends in pristine condition. Seal the pipe openings temporarily at the end of each day's work to prevent contamination. Immediately after completing the connection, inspect the interface to ensure a perfect seal.

4. Both prior to and following the hot melt butt welding process, meticulously clean the heating plate with a pristine cotton cloth. Adhere meticulously to the heating time and temperature specifications outlined by the manufacturers of the hot melt butt welding machine, and the pipes and fittings, to ensure a secure and enduring weld.

5. Rigorously follow the specified pressure holding and cooling durations for hot melt butt welding, as prescribed by the equipment and pipe manufacturers. During these critical periods, refrain from moving or applying any pressure to the connecting parts to maintain the integrity of the weld.

6. Conduct a water pressure test on the pipes post-connection to verify their integrity. Perform this essential test within 1 hour of completing the hot-melt weld. Secure the pipeline and expose the joints prior to executing the hydrostatic test. Ensure the pipeline is filled with water, purge any air, and meticulously check for watertightness.

7. The pipeline engineering construction is only considered operational after it has successfully passed the final acceptance inspection, ensuring that all standards and quality requirements have been met.
