Installation Instructions

 

1. For the flawless installation of buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, exclusively utilize electric fusion welding and hot melt docking methods. The use of screw connections and bonding is strictly forbidden. Ensure every type of polyethylene water supply pipeline connection is executed with specialized tools. Refrain from using open flames during the connection process.

2. Ensure seamless connectivity by using polyethylene pipes and fittings of the same brand, material, and SDR rating. Before initiating the connection, conduct a comprehensive test to verify that the quality adheres to required standards.

3. During the joining of polyethylene water supply pipelines, maintain pristine pipe ends. Temporarily seal the pipe openings after each work session. Immediately inspect the interface upon the completion of the connection.

 

4. Prior to and after hot melt butt welding, meticulously clean the heating plate with a pristine cotton cloth. Rigorously follow the heating time and temperature guidelines specified by the manufacturers of the welding machine and pipes and fittings.

5. Adhere strictly to the prescribed pressure holding and cooling durations for hot melt butt welding as outlined by the equipment and pipe manufacturers. During these periods, refrain from moving or applying pressure to the connecting parts.

6. After the connection, it is vital to conduct a water pressure test on the pipes within 1 hour of completing the hot melt weld. Secure the pipeline and expose the joints before performing the hydrostatic test. Fill the pipeline with water, expel any trapped air, and verify water tightness.

7. The pipeline construction process can only be considered operational after passing the final acceptance inspection successfully.
