Installation Instructions

1. For underground polyethylene water supply pipelines, utilize only electric fusion welding and hot melt docking methods. Screw connections or bonding are strictly prohibited. Ensure every connection is executed with specialized tools, avoiding the use of open flames for heating. This guarantees a robust and safe connection.

2. Always connect polyethylene pipes using PE pipes and fittings that match in brand, material, and SDR rating. Prior to the connection process, perform a thorough test to ensure the quality meets the required standards, ensuring long-term reliability.

3. Maintain immaculate pipe ends when joining polyethylene water supply pipelines. Temporarily seal the pipe openings at the end of each work session to prevent contamination. Immediately inspect the interface upon completing each connection to ensure a secure and clean join.

4. Before and after hot melt butt welding, meticulously clean the heating plate with a pristine cotton cloth. Adhere strictly to the heating time and temperature guidelines provided by the hot melt butt welding machine and pipe manufacturers to maintain optimal performance.

5. Follow the specified pressure holding and cooling durations for hot melt butt welding as outlined by the equipment and pipe manufacturers. During these critical periods, avoid any movement or application of pressure to the connecting parts to ensure a strong bond.

6. Conduct a water pressure test on the pipes within 1 hour after completing the hot-melt weld. Secure the pipeline and expose the joints before the hydrostatic test. Fill the pipeline with water, purge all air, and check for water tightness to guarantee a flawless installation.

7. The pipeline engineering project can only be considered operational after it successfully passes the final acceptance inspection, ensuring it meets all quality and safety standards.
