Installation Instructions

1. For the seamless installation of buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, exclusively utilize electric fusion welding and hot melt docking methods. Avoid using screw connections or bonding to ensure optimal performance. Each type of polyethylene water supply pipeline connection must be executed with specialized tools. Never employ open flames for heating during the connection process to maintain safety.

2. Polyethylene pipes must be connected using PE pipes and fittings of identical brand, material, and SDR rating. Before commencing the connection, conduct a thorough test to ensure the quality meets the required standards, guaranteeing a reliable and durable connection.

3. For pristine connections of polyethylene water supply pipelines, maintain clean pipe ends at all times. Temporarily seal pipe openings at the end of each work session to prevent contamination. Immediately inspect the interface upon completing each connection to ensure integrity.

4. Both before and after performing hot melt butt welding, meticulously clean the heating plate with a pristine cotton cloth to avoid impurities. Adhere strictly to the heating time and temperature guidelines specified by the manufacturers of the hot melt butt welding machine and the pipes and fittings for optimal results.

5. Follow the prescribed pressure holding and cooling durations for hot melt butt welding as stipulated by the equipment and pipe manufacturers. During these critical periods, it is crucial not to move or apply pressure to the connecting parts to maintain joint integrity.

6. Post-connection, it is essential to conduct a hydrostatic water pressure test on the pipes within 1 hour of completing the hot-melt weld. Secure the pipeline and expose the joints prior to the test. Fill the pipeline with water, purge all air, and then check for water tightness to ensure there are no leaks.

7. The pipeline engineering construction can only be considered operational after successfully passing the final acceptance inspection, ensuring that all protocols and standards have been meticulously adhered to.
