Installation Instructions

 

1. For the installation of buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, exclusively utilize state-of-the-art electric fusion welding and precise hot melt docking methods. Under no circumstances should screw connections or bonding be employed. Ensure that each type of polyethylene water supply pipeline connection is executed with specialized, high-quality tools. Absolutely avoid the use of open flames for heating during the connection process to maintain safety and integrity.

2. Polyethylene pipes must be connected using PE pipes and fittings of the same brand, material, and SDR rating. Prior to commencing the connection, conduct a comprehensive test to confirm the quality meets the stringent required standards, ensuring reliability and performance.

3. When joining polyethylene water supply pipelines, always maintain pristine pipe ends. Temporarily seal pipe openings at the end of each work session to protect from debris and contaminants. Immediately inspect the interface upon completing the connection to ensure a secure and tight fit.

 

4. Both before and after performing hot melt butt welding, meticulously clean the heating plate with a pristine cotton cloth. Adhere strictly to the precise heating time and temperature guidelines specified by the manufacturers of the hot melt butt welding machine and the pipes and fittings to ensure optimal results.

5. Follow the prescribed pressure holding and cooling durations for hot melt butt welding as stipulated by the equipment and pipe manufacturers. During these critical periods, it is crucial not to move or apply pressure to the connecting parts to maintain the integrity of the weld.

6. Post-connection, it is essential to conduct a thorough water pressure test on the pipes within 1 hour after completing the hot-melt weld. Secure the pipeline and expose the joints prior to the hydrostatic test. Fill the pipeline with water, purge all air, and then meticulously check for water tightness to ensure no leaks and optimum performance.

7. The pipeline engineering construction can only be deemed operational after successfully passing the rigorous final acceptance inspection, ensuring that all standards and specifications have been met.
