Installation Instructions

 

1. For the installation of buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, exclusively utilize electric fusion welding and hot melt docking methods. Under no circumstances should screw connections or bonding be employed. Always ensure that each type of polyethylene water supply pipeline connection is executed with specialized tools. Avoid the use of open flames for heating during the connection process to ensure maximum safety and efficiency.

2. Polyethylene pipes must be connected using PE pipes and fittings of the same brand, material, and SDR rating. Before commencing any connection work, conduct a comprehensive test to confirm that the quality meets the stringent required standards, ensuring the long-term reliability of the pipeline system.

3. When joining polyethylene water supply pipelines, it is crucial to maintain pristine pipe ends. Temporarily seal pipe openings at the end of each work session to prevent contamination. Immediately inspect the interface upon completing the connection to ensure a perfect seal and optimal performance.

 

4. Both before and after performing hot melt butt welding, meticulously clean the heating plate with a pristine cotton cloth. Adhere strictly to the heating time and temperature guidelines specified by the manufacturers of the hot melt butt welding machine and the pipes and fittings to guarantee a flawless connection.

5. Follow the precise pressure holding and cooling durations for hot melt butt welding as stipulated by the equipment and pipe manufacturers. During these critical periods, it is essential not to move or apply pressure to the connecting parts to ensure a secure and durable bond.

6. Post-connection, it is essential to conduct a water pressure test on the pipes within 1 hour after completing the hot-melt weld. Secure the pipeline and expose the joints prior to the hydrostatic test. Fill the pipeline with water, purge all air, and then meticulously check for water tightness to verify the integrity of the installation.

7. The pipeline engineering construction can only be deemed operational after successfully passing the final acceptance inspection, ensuring that all installation standards and safety protocols have been rigorously met.
