Installation Instructions

1. For the installation of buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, exclusively utilize electric fusion welding and hot melt docking methods. Screw connections and bonding are strictly prohibited. Ensure each polyethylene water supply pipeline connection is executed with specialized tools, and avoid the use of open flames for heating.

2. Connect polyethylene pipes using PE pipes and fittings of the same brand, material, and SDR rating. Conduct a comprehensive test before commencing the connection to confirm the quality meets the required standards.

3. When joining polyethylene water supply pipelines, maintain pristine pipe ends. Temporarily seal pipe openings at the end of each session. Immediately inspect the interface upon completing the connection.

4. Before and after performing hot melt butt welding, meticulously clean the heating plate with a pristine cotton cloth. Adhere strictly to the heating time and temperature guidelines specified by the manufacturers of the hot melt butt welding machine and the pipes and fittings.

5. Follow the prescribed pressure holding and cooling durations for hot melt butt welding as stipulated by the equipment and pipe manufacturers. During these periods, avoid moving or applying pressure to the connecting parts.

6. Post-connection, conduct a water pressure test on the pipes within 1 hour after completing the hot-melt weld. Secure the pipeline and expose the joints prior to the hydrostatic test. Fill the pipeline with water, purge all air, and then check for water tightness.

7. The pipeline engineering construction can only be deemed operational after successfully passing the final acceptance inspection.
