Installation Instructions

1. For installing buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, exclusively utilize electric fusion welding and hot melt docking methods. Screw connections or bonding are strictly prohibited. Ensure that every connection of polyethylene water supply pipelines is executed with specialized tools, avoiding the use of open flames for heating.

2. Connect polyethylene pipes with PE pipes and fittings of the same brand, material, and SDR rating. Before starting the connection, conduct a thorough test to confirm the quality meets the required standards.

3. When joining polyethylene water supply pipelines, ensure the pipe ends remain clean. Temporarily seal pipe openings at the end of each work session and immediately inspect the interface upon completing the connection.

4. Before and after executing hot melt butt welding, meticulously clean the heating plate with a pristine cotton cloth. Strictly adhere to the heating time and temperature guidelines specified by the manufacturers of the welding machine and the pipes and fittings.

5. Follow the prescribed pressure holding and cooling durations for hot melt butt welding as stipulated by the equipment and pipe manufacturers. It is crucial not to move or apply pressure to the connecting parts during these periods.

6. Post-connection, conduct a water pressure test on the pipes within 1 hour after completing the hot-melt weld. Secure the pipeline and expose the joints prior to the hydrostatic test. Fill the pipeline with water, purge all air, and then check for water tightness.

7. Pipeline engineering construction can only be deemed operational after successfully passing the final acceptance inspection.
