Installation Instructions

1. To ensure the highest standard of installation for buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, exclusively utilize electric fusion welding and hot melt docking methods. Avoid screw connections and bonding at all costs. Each connection should be executed using specialized tools designed for polyethylene water supply pipelines. Refrain from using open flames for heating during the connection process.

2. For optimal results, polyethylene pipes must be connected using PE pipes and fittings of the same brand, material, and SDR rating. Before initiating the connection, thoroughly test to confirm that the quality aligns with the required standards.

3. It is essential to ensure that the ends of polyethylene water supply pipelines are immaculate before joining. Temporarily seal the pipe openings at the close of each work session. Immediately inspect the interface upon completing the connection to ensure a flawless finish.

4. Prior to and after performing hot melt butt welding, meticulously clean the heating plate with a pristine cotton cloth. Adhere strictly to the heating time and temperature guidelines provided by the manufacturers of the hot melt butt welding machine and the pipes and fittings.

5. Follow the specified pressure holding and cooling durations for hot melt butt welding as outlined by the equipment and pipe manufacturers. During these periods, ensure the connecting parts remain stationary and free from additional pressure.

6. After the connection process, conduct a water pressure test on the pipes within 1 hour of completing the hot-melt weld. Secure the pipeline and expose the joints before the hydrostatic test. Fill the pipeline with water, expel any trapped air, and then check for water tightness.

7. Pipeline engineering construction is only considered complete and operational after passing a comprehensive final acceptance inspection.
