Installation Instructions

 

During the installation of the MPP power cable protection tube, the connection method is crucial. Selecting the correct connection method ensures the reliable operation of the power piping system. This section introduces several common MPP power cable protection tube connection methods to help you understand their characteristics and application scenarios.

01. Before installation, verify that the power supply, hydraulic oil, and heating plate of the welding machine meet the welding requirements. Conduct a test run on the milling cutter oil pump switch and other components. Install the slips that match the pipe specifications into the rack. Set the heating plate temperature to the welding temperature, and clean its surface with clean soft paper or alcohol to remove oil stains before heating.

02. Remove any dirt from both ends of the pipe. Place the pipe into the frame clamp, ensuring the extension length is equal on both ends. Support the parts outside the pipe rack with supports. Align the pipe's height with the centerline of the frame, secure the slip, insert a milling cutter, and mill the pipe.

03. Mill the pipe until continuous cutting occurs at both ends. Remove the pressure and let the milling cutter idle for two to three cycles. Then, retract the movable frame and turn off the milling cutter switch.

 

04. Remove the milling cutter and close the pipes at both ends. Check the end face, ensuring the displacement at both ends does not exceed 10% of the pipe wall thickness. When closing, there should be no visible gap between the pipe ends, and the gap width must comply with: 0.3MM (DN.<25MM); If 0.5MM (225MM400MM) does not meet the requirements, it should be milled again.

05. Once the heating plate reaches the set temperature, quickly place it into the rack and apply the specified pressure until the circumference of the pipe ends flips, and the minimum curling height is achieved. Reduce the pressure to the specified value, allowing the pipe end faces to contact the heating plate, and continue heating for the required duration.

06.When the heat absorption time is met, retract the movable frame, swiftly remove the heating plate, and close the pipe ends quickly, ensuring the switching time does not exceed the specified value. Avoid excessive closing pressure to prevent the molten material from being squeezed out, which could degrade welding quality.

07.Increase the pressure to the specified value and maintain it during cooling. After natural cooling to room temperature, release the pressure, loosen the slip, remove the pipe, and complete the welding.
