Installation Instructions

1. When installing buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, exclusively employ electric fusion welding and hot melt docking methods. Avoid screw connections and bonding at all costs. Each type of polyethylene water supply pipeline connection should be executed with dedicated, specialized tools. Refrain from using open flames for heating during the connection process to ensure utmost safety and reliability.

2. Always connect polyethylene pipes using PE pipes and fittings of the same brand, material, and SDR rating. Prior to initiating the connection, perform rigorous testing to verify that the quality meets the prescribed standards, ensuring a flawless and dependable connection.

3. When joining polyethylene water supply pipelines, ensure the pipe ends are immaculate. Temporarily seal the pipe openings at the end of each work session to maintain cleanliness. Immediately inspect the interface for any discrepancies or issues once the connection is completed.

4. Both before and after conducting hot melt butt welding, meticulously clean the heating plate with a pristine cotton cloth. Adhere strictly to the specified heating time and temperature guidelines provided by the manufacturers of the hot melt butt welding machine and the pipes and fittings, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

5. Follow the detailed pressure holding and cooling durations for hot melt butt welding as outlined by the equipment and pipe manufacturers. During these critical periods, avoid moving or applying pressure to the connecting parts to maintain the integrity of the weld.

6. After completing the connection, conduct a prompt water pressure test on the pipes within 1 hour of finishing the hot-melt weld. Ensure the pipeline is secured and the joints are exposed before the hydrostatic test. Fill the pipeline with water, purge any air, and check for water tightness to confirm a successful connection.

7. The pipeline construction project can only be considered operational after successfully passing the final acceptance inspection, ensuring that all standards and safety guidelines have been met.
