Installation Instructions

1. For the installation of buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, exclusively utilize electric fusion welding and hot melt docking methods. The use of screw connections and bonding is strictly forbidden. Ensure each type of polyethylene water supply pipeline connection is executed with specialized tools. Refrain from using open flames for heating during the connection process.

2. Always connect polyethylene pipes using PE pipes and fittings of the same brand, material, and SDR rating. Conduct a thorough test prior to connection to confirm the quality meets the required standards.

3. When joining polyethylene water supply pipelines, ensure the pipe ends are immaculate. Temporarily seal pipe openings at the end of each work session. Immediately inspect the interface upon completing the connection.

4. Before and after performing hot melt butt welding, meticulously clean the heating plate with a pristine cotton cloth. Adhere strictly to the heating time and temperature guidelines specified by the manufacturers of the hot melt butt welding machine and the pipes and fittings.

5. Follow the prescribed pressure holding and cooling durations for hot melt butt welding as outlined by the equipment and pipe manufacturers. During these periods, it is imperative not to move or apply pressure to the connecting parts.

6. Post-connection, it is essential to conduct a water pressure test on the pipes within 1 hour of completing the hot-melt weld. Secure the pipeline and expose the joints prior to the hydrostatic test. Fill the pipeline with water, clear out any air, and then check for water tightness.

7. The pipeline engineering construction is considered operational only after successfully passing the final acceptance inspection.
