Installation Instructions

The connection methods for HDPE double-wall bellows and b and c tubes encompass both mechanical and thermal fusion techniques. Key connection methods include butt fusion, electrical fusion, socket fusion, flange adapter connection, and compression connection.

1. The pipeline should rest on an earthen arc base. For standard soil quality, lay a 100mm thick medium coarse sand layer on the undisturbed soil foundation or on a compacted backfilled foundation layer beneath the pipe. If the foundation soil quality is subpar, use a sand gravel base layer at least 200mm thick, which can be constructed in two layers: the lower layer being gravel (5-32mm particle size) with 100-150mm thickness, and the upper layer consisting of coarse sand no less than 50mm thick. The base density must adhere to Table 2 specifications. For soft soil foundations, if the bearing capacity falls short of design requirements or is compromised by construction precipitation, reinforce the foundation before laying the medium coarse sand base layer once the required bearing capacity is achieved.

2. The axillary corner within the supporting angle of the designed earth arc foundation must be backfilled with medium coarse sand or gravel soil. The backfill should extend beyond the supporting angle 2α by at least 30 degrees, and the compactness of the backfill must meet technical regulations.

3. Groove the socket interface and sleeve connection areas in the pipeline foundation during the laying process. Determine the groove dimensions based on the pipe joint size. Upon joint completion, immediately backfill the area with medium coarse sand to the required density.

4. Reinforce the foundation before laying the pipeline in sections where longitudinal uneven settlement may occur due to pipeline load or ground soil changes.
For polyethylene drainage pipe foundation treatment, use composite methods like sand piles or stone piles. Avoid rigid treatments such as driven piles, concrete pads, or concrete strip foundations.
