The connection methods for HDPE double-wall bellows, as well as B and C tubes, encompass a variety of mechanical connections and advanced thermal fusion procedures. Primary techniques include butt fusion, electrofusion, socket fusion, flange adapter connection, and compression connection.

1. The pipeline installation should commence on an earth arc base. For typical soil conditions, a 100mm layer of medium coarse sand should be laid on either undisturbed soil or a compacted backfill foundation beneath the pipe. In cases of poor soil quality, a 200mm thick sand-gravel base layer is recommended, which may be arranged in two layers: the lower layer consisting of 100-150mm thick gravel with particle sizes of 5-32mm, and the upper layer of coarse sand no less than 50mm thick. Base density must adhere to Table 2's specifications. In soft soil foundations, if the bearing capacity does not meet design requirements or is compromised by construction-related disturbances such as precipitation, the foundation must be strengthened before a medium coarse sand foundation layer is applied.

2. The axillary corner within the supporting angle range of the pipeline's designed earth arc foundation must be backfilled with medium coarse sand or gravel soil. This backfilling should extend beyond the supporting angle 2α by at least 30 degrees, and the compactness must align with technical regulations.

3. Grooves for the socket interface and sleeve connection within the pipeline foundation should be excavated concurrently with the pipeline laying. The groove's dimensions—length, width, and depth—should match the pipe joint sizes. Once the jointing is complete, backfill the area promptly with medium coarse sand to ensure proper density.

4. For sections prone to longitudinal uneven settlement due to pipeline load or soil changes, foundational reinforcement is necessary before laying the pipeline.
To treat the foundation of polyethylene drainage pipes, employ composite methods such as sand piles or stone piles. Avoid rigid foundation treatments like driven piles, concrete pads, or concrete strip foundations.
