Installation Instructions

The connection modes of HDPE double-wall bellows and B and C tubes encompass mechanical connections and a series of thermal fusion procedures. The primary methods include butt fusion, electrical fusion, socket fusion, flange adapter connection, and compression connection.

1. Begin by ensuring the pipeline is based on an earth arc. For general soil quality, lay a 100mm thick layer of medium coarse sand on the undisturbed soil foundation or on a compacted backfilled foundation below the pipe. For poor soil foundations, use a sand gravel base layer at least 200mm thick. Alternatively, you can lay it in two layers: a lower layer of gravel with a particle size of 5-32mm, 100-150mm thick, and an upper layer of coarse sand at least 50mm thick. The base density should comply with Table 2 provisions. For soft soil foundations, if the foundation bearing capacity is below design requirements or affected by construction precipitation, strengthen the foundation first. Once the specified bearing capacity is met, lay the medium coarse sand foundation layer.

2. The axillary corner within the supporting angle range of the pipeline's designed earth arc foundation must be backfilled with medium coarse sand or gravel soil. The backfilling range should not be less than the supporting angle 2α plus 30 degrees, and the compactness of the backfill should comply with technical regulations.

3. Grooves for the socket interface and sleeve connections in the pipeline foundation should be dug concurrently with the pipeline laying. The groove's length, width, and depth should be determined based on the pipe joint size. After completing the joint, backfill with medium coarse sand immediately.

4. For sections where longitudinal uneven settlement of the pipeline might occur due to factors like pipeline load and soil changes, reinforce the foundation before laying the pipeline.
For polyethylene drainage pipe foundation treatment, use composite methods like sand piles and stone piles. Avoid rigid foundation treatments such as driven piles, concrete pads, and concrete strip foundations.
