Installation Instructions

 

1. For standard installations of the honeycomb pipe, if the trench soil is stable (no soft soil), there's no need for additional trench bed preparation or wrapping. Once the pipe is properly laid, backfill the trench and reopen it to traffic immediately.

2. When laying multiple honeycomb pipes in the same trench, ensure at least two pipes are placed at the bottom. Secure them at each joint and at the midpoint of their lengths using two 3.0 iron wires to maintain precise alignment before backfilling.

3. For optical cable installations crossing highways, carefully arrange the pipes according to the designed trench depth. Use approximately 20 cm of fine soil or sand to fill the pipes before completing the backfill with soil.
 

 

4. Connect pipes using joints, ensuring a secure seal by first applying PVC glue. For pipes of different specifications, use factory markings at the joints to guide proper alignment and avoid misconnection.

5. Upon completing each construction section, seal any temporarily unused pipes with plugs to keep out sand and gravel. Utilize cut pipes for other road sections, joining them to the desired length as needed.
