Installation Instructions

 

During the installation of the MPP power cable protection tube, selecting the correct connection method is crucial to ensure the reliable operation of the power piping system. This section introduces several common MPP power cable protection tube connection methods, highlighting the characteristics and application scenarios of each to enhance your understanding and ensure optimal selection.

01. Before installation, ensure that the power supply, hydraulic oil, and heating plate of the welding machine meet all welding requirements. Perform an empty run test on the milling cutter oil pump switch. Install the matching slips into the rack. Set the heating plate to the correct welding temperature, and clean its surface with soft paper or alcohol to remove any oil stains before heating.

02. Remove any dirt from both ends of the pipe. Position the pipe into the frame clamp ensuring equal extension length at both ends. Support the parts outside the pipe rack adequately. Align the pipe height with the centerline of the frame, secure the slip, insert the milling cutter, and begin milling the pipe.

03. Mill the pipe until continuous cutting is observed at both ends. Release the pressure and allow the milling cutter to idle for two or three rotations before retracting the movable frame and turning off the milling cutter switch.

 

04. Remove the milling cutter and align the pipes at both ends. Check the end face alignment, ensuring the displacement at both ends does not exceed 10% of the pipe wall thickness. The gap between the two end faces should be minimal, adhering to a maximum width of 0.3MM (DN).<25MM); If 0.5MM (225MM400MM) does not meet the requirements, it should be milled again.

05. When the heating plate reaches the set temperature, quickly place it into the rack. Apply the specified pressure until the pipe ends curl to the required height. Reduce pressure to the prescribed value, ensuring contact between the pipe end face and the heating plate. Continue heating for the specified duration.

06.Once the heat absorption time is achieved, retract the movable frame and swiftly remove the heating plate. Close the two pipe ends, maintaining the shortest possible switching time, within the specified limit. Avoid excessive closing pressure to prevent squeezing out molten material and compromising welding quality.

07.Increase pressure to the specified value and maintain it through the cooling phase. Once natural cooling to room temperature is complete, release the pressure, loosen the slip, remove the pipe, and the welding process is complete.
