Installation Instructions

 

1. For the seamless installation of buried polyethylene water supply pipelines, exclusively employ electric fusion welding and hot melt docking techniques. Under no circumstances should screw connections or bonding be utilized. Ensure that each connection of the polyethylene water supply pipeline is executed with specialized tools. Avoid the use of open flames for heating during the connection process to maintain safety and integrity.

2. Polyethylene pipes must be connected using PE pipes and fittings of the same brand, material, and SDR rating. Prior to commencing the connection, conduct a comprehensive quality test to confirm that all materials meet the required standards, ensuring a reliable and durable piping system.

3. When joining polyethylene water supply pipelines, ensure the pipe ends are pristine and clean. Temporarily seal pipe openings at the end of each work session to prevent contamination. Immediately inspect the interface upon completing the connection to guarantee a secure fit.

 

4. Before and after performing hot melt butt welding, meticulously clean the heating plate with a pristine cotton cloth. Adhere strictly to the heating time and temperature guidelines specified by the manufacturers of the hot melt butt welding machine, as well as the pipes and fittings, to achieve optimal results.

5. Follow the prescribed pressure holding and cooling durations for hot melt butt welding as stipulated by the equipment and pipe manufacturers. During these periods, it is crucial not to move or apply additional pressure to the connecting parts to ensure a strong and stable bond.

6. Post-connection, it is essential to conduct a water pressure test on the pipes within 1 hour after completing the hot-melt weld. Secure the pipeline and expose the joints prior to the hydrostatic test. Fill the pipeline with water, purge all air, and then meticulously check for water tightness to ensure the system is leak-free.

7. The pipeline engineering construction can only be deemed operational after successfully passing the final acceptance inspection. This ensures that all connections and installations meet the highest standards of quality and durability.
